CGA 2016 Morocco #1
Hello all,
My name is Karsen Williams, I am a freshman at Battle Mountain High School. I have earned the opportunity to participate in a service trip to Morocco this summer through Children's Global Alliance. I have the opportunity to go on a two week service trip to Rabat, the capital of Morocco. Every day while I am there I will be teaching English to kids in Abde Salan Middle School and I am going to visit homes. I want to do this trip to help others get the opportunity that we get all the time at home, such as learning a second language or even just learning in general. Also I hope to gain friends and the experience of a lifetime while I am in Morocco. It never hurts to have more friends, and this experience could give me some of the best and coolest memories of my life. This year I have participated in High school soccer ending the season with only one defeat. I joined the club Best Buddies, which is an organization where you become really close friends with someone who has a disability. Right now I am playing basketball for my school and steps away from getting my black belt for Tai Kwan Do. I like to play sports, especially soccer. For me learning new things is fun, for example new languages. I am close to being fluent in Spanish for my age and I think it is fun conversing with my friends that only speak Spanish. I think learning a new language is a great skill to achieve and will help you forever. I love spending time with my friends and family. My family consists of my Mom, Dad, Brother and Me. My brother is two years younger than me and we are very close. We all love to travel. I have a dog; Noche and a cat; Misty. If you have any more questions for me please email me at Score0202@gmail.com. If you would like to learn more about Children's Global Alliance or you have interest about future trips please visit www.childrensglobalalliance.org. Thank you for your time.
Thanks,
Karsen
